GENERAL INFORMATION

Pigs enjoy their food and their sleep. The pig gives us a relaxing or even lazy feeling. The pig is actually a very intelligent animal. In Chinese Tradition, Pig is a symbol of relaxation, caution, braveness, knowledge, and faith. It is the twelfth animal symbol in the 12 Chinese Animals System. We use Hai to represent the Pig symbol in the 12 Earthly Branches. Hai is a symbol for the 21:00-22:59 time of day, and for the tenth month in the Chinese Lunar-Solar calendar (which is approximately November 7 through December 7 in the Gregorian Solar calendar). In the daily cycle, Hai represents bed time, the time to take a deep rest both physically and mentally, and the first month of winter in the annual cycle. It can represent either a time or a place in which Yang energy (life energy) is ending in a life cycle. We use the tidal hexagram Kun to symbolize Pig.

Having a pig animal symbol in your Chinese birth chart suggests that you are gentle, knowledgeable, joyful, smart, honest, trustworthy, and brave. It is also common for Pig people to be angry or insecure. As a Pig animal person, your tenderness and knowledge will help you achieve your goals. Due to a tendency to give up easily when experiencing difficulties, it can be challenging to get your projects done. You would be wise to cultivate you patience and endurance to help you reach your dreams.

Generally speaking, you have a pleasurable life. People like your intellect and leadership. You would do well to choose an influential job, like being a director, contractor, teacher, designer, or accountant. When you work directly with people, remember to continually cultivate your patience and self-confidence; otherwise, you may come across as being irritable or tough. The important thing for you to remember if you are in a relationship is to learn how to communicate with you partner with an open heart.
